At least you recognise that the EA waterways department are poorly managed.
My worry would be that if/when a transfer happens they also come as part of the deal.Shiny new cars all round and let's carry on.

I think it's anyone's guess if a transfer will happen but it would be usual to TUPE the whole staff team across. Those that like the comfort of the public sector would try for other EA jobs not least to protect their valuable pensions. There are a few sharp minds at the CRT amongst trustees and managers who know the workings of the waterways department on the Thames so I like to think that the poor performers will be weeded out.
