I thought long and hard between Bayliner and Holiday 224. In the end the 224s sea keeping qualities, pressurised hot water and shower and superior standard of interior finish swung it. MBMs detailed survey in Sept 1987 stated the following: "A high standard of build and finish, plenty of accomodation and an excellent predictable performance in some quite rough seas (the overfalls between Poole and Anvil Point) make this an ideal package for safe family boating" It has full built-in foam flotation. Also:"The 224 happily handled quite large seas withouit slamming or any signs of burying the bow. For a boat of this size, the performance was really quite remarkable". Although I prefer the Bayliner cockpit layout!

Absolute crap...we played like ninnies...there were other expletives used in the pub....rather like the expletives I used to describe the ninny I noticed in Poole harbour 2 years ago who apparently didn't know what a collision reg is...even I know and I'm stuck near Worcester on the Severn....Bewdley actually!!
Let me know what you decide on!
Regards
Maxwell
