Currently in discussion with my friendly canopy manufacturer about weather or not to have our new canopy made with an all c. through slant back, as the new Bayliners seem to be. Apparently the c.through material is not as hardwearing as canvas and he suggests a BIG window rather than a full c.through job. Does anyone have any comments either way ?

um, the c.thru clear is most certainly not as hardwearing and will look a bit ghastly IMHO. Best wd be for navy blue camper with big window. To reduce wear on the indow, try and roll it up rather than fold it praps?

Yes agrre with tcm but also have a canvas cover over the window to protect it from ultra violet whilst not on the boat.

Re: c through

I like to see an open back with a C,through front not in canvas though must be silk or satin got to be black. negative VPL and must be a G.
