Cleaning verdigris from bronze fittings

My seacocks are coated in verdigris from varoius weeps that have now been fixed. What's the easiest way of cleaning it off from a rough cast finish? Thought of using brown sauce, lemon juice or vinegar. Anyone any better recommendations?

or mixture of vinegar and salt (for removing the verdigris from potterie i assume it also works for the seacocks)
