Cleaning stains "Watermarks" off anodized aluminium

I have some streaks on my boom and mast "Selden" anodized aluminium. Have tried many things any suggestions.

If you find something that renovates alloy masts - patent it, quick!

Proctor Masts used to have a 'polish' that could be applied to the mast and spars which left a "Teflon" feel to the surface,and came in a small spray can.It was given out as a freebie when we were visiting the factory as a club outing in the early 80's.
If no luck with Selden (who took Proctors over) you might try using a light silicone spray - useful for your sail sliders/luff ropes too.
