Cleaning sails

Unfurled my jib yesterday to find them marked in places with what looks like dirt.

It's not black spot mould, so I was wondering how to clean them.

Is soap and water enough? Or do I need to get some special material?

I would use Oxalic Acid.
I had a rust stain on my sail and it was fantastic!
