Cleaning PVC Glue

Had to stick a pad onto my Zodiac (PVC) tender for standoff rods for my snap davits. Some of the glue has oozed out from the pad and has now turned brown. Any ideas for a solvent for cleaning this up?

acetone will help if it is not too old but dont put too much on, then rub like mad.

MEK or Ethyl Acetate might work with a kitchen green pad thingy, be careful though the stuff is not very nice and do not work to hard add the fabric or you will damage it.

you can normally buy a small bottle for a large number of beer tokens from the swindlery, but much cheaper from local fibreglass suppliers.
