Can any East Coast forumites recommend a technology and a company for cleaning off the anti foul build-up on Bonsella (Sadler 26), currently out of the water at Bradwell? I am due to be away for some weeks and although I know I "could" scrape it all off, I'm thinking of biting the bullet and paying someone else to do it so as not to lose too much sailing time when I get home.

Thanks for any advice.

There is a company who just soda blasted the ferro 30 footer next to me at Rochford.
Excellent job, and no damage - very smooth finish. Around £400.

I can get his number if you like.

Based in Southend, he travels anywhere in essex for one off work. Recommended by my shipwright.

I didn't think it looked too bad when I nosed by today - you are obviously fussier than me :)

Have you asked Barnaby if he wants some work? (Barnaby is the young lad - by our standards - who does work for folks around the marina. He has the wooden Peter Duck ketch "Bar Goose" on B pontoon).

Enjoy your trip - just as the weather improves :)
