Any suggestions to cleaning the diesel lines? I have taken out the fuel tank and cleaned that OK at the local car wash with degreaser and high pressure cleaner but what about the pipes? If I fill them with degreaser and let it stand a while will that be enough? Can I pull something through to mechanically clean them as well? It's not that I know they need cleaning but I would like to find out. It would be a shame to have a clean tank but dirty lines...

Just make sure that you wear good gloves. Compressed air can and does blow diesel under the skin and that is very dangerous, apart from being quite painful. Safety glasses would not be a bad idea either. Finish with low pressure air to avoid the formation of water droplets inside the lines.
