I have just used up my last bottle of cleaning "stuff" which I made up from a recipe on this forum but cannot now find it.

Vinegar, meths and ? danish oil/boiled linseed oil and something else?

1,2,3,4 were the hazy remembered ratios.

Anyone still got it?

Polish revivers from 'The Woodworker's Pocket Book' 1983

1. 1 part linseed oil, one part vinegar, I part methylated spirits (quite good)
2. Dissolve 1 0z camphor in 1/2 pint methylated spirits, add 1/2 pint vinegar, 1 o linseed oil, 1/2 oz butter of antimony (never tried that)
3. 4 parts linseed oil, 1 part of terebine, 12 parts vinegar. (never tried that)

Furniture cleaner

4 parts Linseed oil

4 parts Vinegar

4 parts Turpentine

1 part Methylated spirits

Worth making to enjoy the smell :D
