Cleaning crustations off the prop

Erm, I'm not sure that anything was ever gained by trying to explain a joke or pun, but your reply was great, meeting irony with irony. (OK, I could be wrong, and Lille Bee really is a pedant who thought that the question was about crustaceans and not accretions, but it seems to me rather unlikely.) Enough words, my post was a feeble attempt to counteract what seemed to me a rather severe dressing down delivered to Lille Bee for delivering an amusing, if somewhat obvious, pun.

Regards

Mark

Starbrite Hull cleaner is a dilute hydrochloric acid because it does a great job on the remains of barnacle shells etc and I can't believe its not brinze friendly given it's design criteria

as has been said already the starting point is scrapping adn wood is a great substance for this - I use thick bamboo which is hard enough to survive the job but small enough to get into those difficult to get to bits

then hydrochloric to clean residues and organics - maybe a wash off with water then really really dilute bleach (1-3%) to neutralise then water
