I need to clear the salt and other deposits from the water channels within my engine block.
What products/chemicals do you recommend and how do I use them.

Thanks in advance.

Use citric acid from your friendly local chemist?! About a couple of tablespoons a pint, soak as long as necessary, remove and flush. Coca Cola probably works just as well.
Works well too if you circulate around your outboard motor (if that is not what you are talking about already!)
A similar procedure was once the standard means of clearing salt scale from steam heated water evaporator/distillers in ships.
Good luck!
