Cleaner for glue

Hi all

Anyone know of a cleaner for the"foamy" gap filling wood type glue ??

I'v tried allsorts of domestic cleaning fluids plus the usual nasties ------- antifouling thinners, acetone white spirit etc. Bl**dy fingers still covered in the stuff !! Yea I know---wear gloves next time

Only advice I've ever seen is "set foam can only be removed mechanically".

At least it's only on your hands; I got it in my hair and ears
