In addition to my own boat, I am responsible for a dive club 6.8 m RIB.

It comes out of the water in a couple of weeks and I wondered if anybody out there had any suggestions on cleaning the tubes which are made from Hypalon.

Being very sceptical of "boat products" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif which are generally overpriced cleaners SWMBO gets from Tesco in a high priced container sold in swindlers.

Any thoughts /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I just clean my own inflatable from Achilles (hypalon) using a scotch brite and ordinary product for cleaning the house (named in Uruguay "CIF ")

My dinghy is 13 years old and has been working hard under tropical sun... and it is like a new one now...

Some people swear by McGuires, perhaps the spelling is wrong. It is a bit dear. Others buy some special stuff from a chap who repairs tinker tramps at Setly Vineyard near or rather between Lymington and Brockenhurst.

go to the Mobo forum and ask HLB for some of his special cleaner (known as Muckyfarters magic) It was developed specifically for this purpose and is excellent.

I am not pulling your leg on this, I used some on TCM's little boat when we cleaned her up prior to putting copper on her bottom.
