Claymore\'s Tom Tom

Now that I'm a V. Important Pers at work I've qualified for a Tom Tom which I received yesterday.
Its more that when I go off site, they think it takes me longer than it should to get back and so this is an attempt to help me, I'm sure.
Its wonderful - I even went the wrong way on purpose this morning to see what she would do. Dear Heart would have been calling me all the daft pillocks under the sun if she'd been navigating and I'd ignored her - but not my Jane TomTom.
She just murmured, "Claysie my sweet, we made a wee error there but no matter, we'll soon be back on the right road."
Lovely

4 stages of getting old:

1st you forget other peoples names
then you forget your own
then you forget to do up your flies after a pee
and lastly you forget to undo them before a pee

is this a gift frae yer gaffer, an if so could it in fact be construed as a computer of sorts, if this is the case, then thon nice Mr Brown manny will be efter yer wallet faster than a bluidy flea jumpin oan tae a dugs back. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Jane's lovely but I've jilted her for Bonnie right now. Bonnie has a warm voice for those cold mornings, even if she doesn't know what a roundabout is.

Just get your head round the "Avoid roadblock" buttons and you'll have hours of fun finding new routes to places you already know.

Re: Claymore\'s Tom Tom

Can anyone answer Claymores next questions!

Will Tom Tom Jane work on his boat?

Will dear heart allow him to speak to/about Jane in such glowing terms?

Will Jane try and send him up every high street in Scotland when navigating from his marina to some distant port?

Answers on a post card to Jimi c/o The home for decrepted Scots sailors etc. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If I were the lorry drivers I'd be getting a bit wary.

P*ssed off Norfolk farmers seem to think it's OK to shoot people in the back if they disapprove of them.

Although no replacement for local knowledge, Tom Tom is great espesh when you've got a postcode to work from, no asking directions or taking the wrong turn, and if you do, she gets you out of it with ease. I've got Jane, though I did opt for John Cleese for a while. My GF calles her Bi*ch cos Jane is always right and I only listen to Jane!

They are also blooming helpful for avoiding Gatsos, not that I drive too fast, it's handy to know when I'm in a blackspot or when there might be other motorists slamming on the breaks without warning. But unfortunately yer a little late...It used to be possible to download the Gasto Database for free from here but you now have to pay a subscription for it /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ...boo...boo...and boo again...just as well I've already got it.../forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
