Just back from the marina....a pall said you should have seen that boat over there coming in earlier today, made a right hash of things and not even a fender on the side of the boat he was blowing off from.....just as well the boat in the other berth had the sense to put fenders both side's!!! the name of the boat "Claymore" please tell me it is not the same from these forums....has he really made it to Troon?????

I know there is another Claymore called "Claymore" on the Clyde I spotted it in Millport early on this year.

Think this Claymore is "our" Claymore.....at least it has a Zodiac hanging from the rear davitts....may have to pop over and say hello if they are still there after work.

There is a Claymore on the Clyde (which I saw at the Kip autumn sale a few years ago) which is not the same Claymore as the one owned by Claymore. I hope that clears that up.

]Having opened this thread by slagging them off (possibly - if it's the same Claymore) I wouldn't expect a particularly generous welcome in fact if you're a weak swimmer I'd wear a lifejacket. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheers, Brian.

Popped round to the boat this evening to say hello and offer a dram..... no sign of life apart from a dish towel on the port rail hanging out to dry, guess the boys have hit the pub.....I am off early in the morning running the ferry to Cambletown and Sanda so will try again tommorrow eve if thety still around.
