I have just been looking at the web site for the Classic Channel Regatta and for those who may not as yet have seen it, below is the address for the photo page of the entrants.

Were it not for the fact that I am finally back in employment I would dearly love to enter 'Fairweather' , it looks a real treat.

(I notice at least one familiar name there!)

All best, Nick

I requeted to be entered with my T31 but was declined. I am very disapointed that a composite like mine doesn't yet full GRP boats like contessa 32's and S&S designs do. There doesn't seem to be any real rules on this and it always raises the question of what is a classic? there are many Contessa's about and thet enjoy good class meeting but the T31 is not so common and has shown in the past that they can beat the Contessa 32's. (My friends boat "Scaf" won the round the Island race in the 1/2 ton class class)
Maybe i'll get in next time?

Beautiful boats on your attachment.

Regards.

Peter.

I enquired about entering this regatta and was turned down. My upset being that many GRP boats are included but not mine. As a composite and sucessful racing marque I am disapointed that the T31 could not be included.
Regards.
