Classic British Seagull outboard

Its a Forty Featherweight the smallest in the range. The same as the one I use on my tender. Brass fuel tank, Wipac ignition system I think. Probably dates from around the 1970s but the number can be checked out on the Saving old Seagulls website to get the exact year of manufacture. Looks in very good condition, nearly as good as mine! I've also got a 40 plus. Some of the real Seagull nuts collect them!

No way - they changed the transfers in April of that year so that one was made earlier. Maybe February looking at the leg on it.

But then all these things might have been changed by the owners at one time or another.
