Can anyone recommend good places to look for regattas that have classic boat divisions? The region I'm interested in is northern Europe, from France to Scandinavia.

Classic Boat Magazine of course!

I believe they publish a diary of events in magazine in the Spring, which might of course be too late for your planning.

No doubt Peter Willis, who works on the magazine, will be able to confirm when they publish the list.

If you have a gaffer, and to an extent of you don't, then the OGA organised events will be of interest.

I should have said, "other than in Classic Boat & Wooden Boat". Problem is that many organizations don't always notify the two magazines when they have a classics division, e.g., this past summer's West Highland Yachting Week in Scotland. We found out about it through friends, made the trip over from Denmark, & had a great time sailing against some beautiful yachts & wonderful crews. Btw, we are not a gaffer.

Flensburg \"Rum Reggata\"

This is in German but I can personally attest that Martin Schulz who has much to do with the organisation speaks absolutely fluent English and is welcome back on board Mirelle at any time - we pottered down to see the Colne Match together at the start of this month.

Second biggest classic boat rally in Europe after Douarnanez.

Technically, for working boats, but there is a separate classic yacht rally organised I think by the brokers, Baum and Koenig.
