Class 1 offshore race Hull

OK, this is really off the wall,

Does anyone know where one would start to look to buy and ex class 1 race boat hull either mono or cat (preferably with the drives still attached). Not worried about condition as long as its all together and not damaged.

I've tried some of the major builders but everything they have is big bucks even for stuff bashed to buggery, surely there must be a team out there that has a hull knocking about somewhere that's not compeditive anymore.

There was one on B&O a while ago. Had hull drives but no engines. Went for 11k. They come up on there from time to time.

You could try a post on the Boatmad forum, many power boat racers lurk there Jon Fuller seems to know the location and history of most x race boats, if he cant help he will know someone who can.
