Clam seal for inflatable

Has anybody tried these and do they work. I have a small hole in an inflatable that I have been given and wish to repair it. The inflatable will remain packed up only coming out when I need to go a shore when out cruising. If these are no good then any other repair kits suggested ??

clamshells are designed as a get you home system when a proper repair can be done. You need to use a 2 pack adhesive that is designed for the material of your boat, blus a bit of similar material to stick over the hole, or alternatively get one of the dinghy specialists to do it
