cladding advise

this spring i am going to clad the lower half of my rear cabin in thin wood cladding .underside insulated. if anyone has any idea's /opinions on the best way to fix the latts to the hull,ie,no nails adhesive etc.they would be most welcome.
 
If the requirement is to provide insulation, and you have the space, I would consider glassing in some battens which you can fix the cladding too. It also gives you a nice space to add insulation.

If there isnt enough space for that, I would not be using cladding, but might consider a felt backed carpet instead.
