According to an article on the YM website, Eneco are holding 3 consultations for yachtsmen in April and early May.

Sadly the first, at the RYS in Cowes, is already past but the other two should still be available. One is supposed to be at the RAFYC in Hamble on the 28th April, though the club seem not to know about it, the other at Parkstone YC in Poole on May 1st. Contact Eneco per details given by YM.

This has been discussed a couple of times here, once very recently and once in December.

The Cowes consultation has not passed (or, if it has, they have put on a second). It is now 7pm to 9:30pm on Monday 23rd April at the RYS.

The Hamble one at RAFYC is 12:30 to 3pm on Saturday 28th April and the Poole one is at Parkstone Yacht Club from 7:30 to 10:00 on Tuesday 1st May.

So as usual with these 'consultations' they are merely paying lip service, and just like Finding Sanctuary & Balanced Seas with the conservation zones, completely ignoring the effect of in this case a diabolical wind farm obstacle ( & eyesore both from sea and shore ) , to people transiting the area.

I would have to try hard to make Cowes or Poole, involving long trips and either significant ferry or petrol costs or both, not to mention hours of travel each way.

Is there no facility to mail in ones' objections ?
