Just arrived home with my year 2000 Chris Craft 215 cuddy, The batteries are flat and I need to raise the hydraulic engine cover any thoughts please

I was worried about this at first, but I realized you can just lift it up by grabbing the middle of the back seat and lifting, though its heavy.
You may need a helper, it's heavy.
Just put a second battery system in my CC 215 Cuddy.
