Just got back from a fishing trip, everything ok in Harbour hardly any wind, got out to sea and the wind started picking up and the swells expanding, good fun crashing though 4ft waves ,an excellent sailing day!!!.Stoppied the motor to do bit of drift fishing ,wind and wave against tide ,so was just about staionary, you didn,t need to ocilate you feathers as the swell was coping with this task ...no bother...then all of a sudden there was a horrible noise ,i turned to see Pete hangig over the side in a lot of boffer,he looked absoluly green so i took pity on him (after 2 more excelent efforts to drink the sea)and returned the poor man to the mooring and some much needed fluids...soft.
This left us with most of the day left so high tailed it to Cromer Pier of all places,as we had no beach casters with us....There wonders never ceasing i actualy cought a FISH!!!! a Flounder with was dead before i reeled it in as hooked itself through the brain, ive brought it home for sue,s supper(she,s at work so don,t know yet).
all in all an enjoyable day.
Tails from N orth Norfolk out.
