Had a great week down river, we intended to stop in London for one night then head to the Cote d medway but our mate had a leak on his hydraulics so had to stay in Limehouse.
First day cruised down from Temple to Runneymead

Had a lovely meal in Italian Concept, a short walk from the EA free moorings below Runnymead riverside park

Second day cruised down to Teddington

Stopped in the Tide End Cottage on way to High Street 4 -7pm was happy hour which pleased the ladies as it was 2 for 1 cocktails. So what do they do? have two each
When happy hour had finished we strolled up to the high street Bit disappointed as our usual place Sorrento had closed down!
We ended up having an ok meal in Cote Brasserie, no draught beer in here.
Had a nice lay in Friday morning, High tide was not until 12.23 so we left about 12 passed through Richmond half lock as barriers were all up

Plenty of headroom at Hammersmith Bridge

right time right place https://youtu.be/kZqroBmKw6U

Phoned the lockie up as we went under Tower Bridge and as arranged the gates were open waiting for us to enter no hanging about outside in the choppy water
Safely moored up

Excellent meal that evening in Smiths Wapping second time we have visited every bit as good as the first time. Even got the pianist to play "Fly Me To The Moon"
Saturday is another lovely sunny day we have booked to lock out at 1215 for a trip down river to give LTC a blast.

The last time LTC had a blast was when we brought her round from Burnham in 2013 so was a little bit concerned that pottering up and down the Thames would not
do the engines much good but glad to report when I pushed the sticks forward she performed very well, no fuss no smoke no vibrations only managed 27knots but more than happy
with that.
