Actually this was all a pretence for me to work out how many Grand Mac et Frites are required!

You're right Mike - I had it in mind to bring several copies of the list and put one on each table.

Brain, mainly to get all the boring logistic bits like choosing bedfellows, knock twice and ask for Fifi, whether you prefer red or white calvados, etc out of the public gaze.

One of the better reasons for making the organisational forums private is that you can exchange email, tel no's etc, without the whole word being privvy - I get enough spam as it is.

Even better, knock twice on Mme Laplume's door - she has many lovelies from which to choose, including one with stubble and an adams apple - quite attractive under a long blonde wig though. Must say, she looked very much like Zefs' rugby international brother.......
