Cherbourg restaurants

Having survived the crossing to Cherbourg last Friday night we went for a meal in La Regence and it didn't disappoint. 30 odd Euros for a three course menu and some wine seemed very good value these days. I can definitely recommend it.

Next time I'd like to be a bit more adventurous and get away from the sea front but it is always a bit of a risk. Any suggestions?

Try the restaurant above the Chantereyne marina office. Excellent. Used it several time myself because it is reliably good. Not the cheapest though.
