Cherbourg marina electrics question

Just about to do my first crossing to cherbourg, at which point I will definitely need to use shore power. I have an extension lead with ordinary 3 pin english socket, and a conversion lead to allow use of the english round marina socket. Is this likely to fit the French marina electric sockets, or will I need to bring something different? thanks

cherb has always had the conventional round three pin plugs we use in the UK..... However they have just recently changed the visitors pontoon for sensible one's that don't sink and have proper cleats. so I cannot comment on the current situation. I doubt they would of changed the power supply too.

normally the only problem you encounter in france with electics is sometimes you need to reverse the polarity of you lead !
