Is the MObo burgee OK for us? Or shall we get a special one with Agincourt emblazoned on one side and Ecosse on the other. Who's organising the handicaps? Think that Qsiv is best qualified for that?

Jim

I don't have a MoBo burgee so will fly my RIN flag until I get lost, when I'll whip it down smartish and replace it with a tea towel. As for handicap, looks like we'll be setting off a week after you so that should give you a sporting chance!

Regards
Tom

Do you think HLB would organise them for us? Maybe we can get [censored by IPC Publications] to ask him?

I'm sure he'd love to and it would be great watching that whole process of the SAE and cheques rumble on again.
Kim is a friend of mine and I've never been in better books - even though I did join TCM in a bit of a swipe at H1 this morning - which seems to have been obliterated - as I relinquished mon autre nom voluntarily. If you'd like me to act as some form of go between or even mediator, then I'm willing to do my best for you. Say the word. In the meantime - perhaps you should do a Lucan a lie doggo for a while?
Santa?

You can have a different burgee if you like. But it's not a mobo burgee anyway. Its a forum burgee and loads of raggies have one.

Do a design that your all happy with. Got to be carefull not to need to many stitches, or cost a fortune. Twill cost me about £50 to set up,

Or stick to this one and have your name or whatever on it.

I'll get B1 to rename the site as forum flag, which it always was anyway.
You can have 1000, 2000, etc posts on it for £15 or your name £16 as well.

I think thats overstating it!

I just wish I could join in, as boat is in Lymington at the moment, but at the best it would be a diversion on the return trip so anyone foolish enough to ship aboard would have to jump ship for the return trip. Add to that the excruciating cost of getting someone to live in to look after the boys whilst I'm away, and the cost per 'moule' looks pretty grim. It does have the merit of breaking the return trip into two legs, but after a good run ashore I suspect the second leg might feel pretty challenging. Who knows - we might even find a buyer, so I may not have free use of the boat.. someone liked the look of the boat as we slid into our very tight corner at Berthons so much that they wanted to have a look the very next day.

But next year, it could be a good excuse for a baptism of fire for some brave souls aboard the new boat. Good breeze (NE 5/6) would give a crossing in 5 hours.. but we'd need a 'pension'- or better still a room very close to the eatery!
