I am 'temping' at the same company you are just leaving - and am pretty sure you are better off out of it! I was culled as a permie from the same place back in 1999 and it was the best thing that happened to me.

yeah, some of of our lot seem to want to be PAID! the selfish gits.

rule 1 of employing people: always work with the lights and heating OFF. Then, when they come in say er have you got a minute... er why are the lighyts and heating off, you can say its to save money - "but anyway, how can i help?" This is the ultimate back-footer, i reckon.
