I have an old Swedish half tonner with tall double spreader rig, the spreaders are in line. Although the Westerly Storm is bigger, it looks a very similar set up.
It seems to me that checkstays could be useful in dodgy conditions but there is little evidence of them being fitted.
So Westerly owners, do you find this a concern? Anyone else with similar or useful experience of this rig?
