If it wasn't sold, it wouldn't be that difficult to get it back - by sea to northern Croatia, then truck it north from there, avoiding Italy. Easy.
I doubt anyone will bring it "back". It's already in one of the best cruising locations on the planet (check out Hardmy's recent thread)Minor problem....getting it back ?
Yup dead easy. Actually the route is to get it to Portoroz in Slovenia and truck it from there through Austria and Germany avoiding, as you say, Italy. However the reason it is cheap is that it only has the Volvo 40B engines which will struggle to push it along at much more than 18- 20kts. The Turbo 36 is a much better boat and hence much more popular with the 60 or 61 series engines. Still it would be a cheap way to get into Croatian cruising with a boat that could genuinely be a liveaboard and its got all the Med gear you need by way of a pasarelle, gennie, bimini and (rudimentary) aircon. It looks as though somebody has looked after it as well. Could be a good buy for the right ownerIf it wasn't sold, it wouldn't be that difficult to get it back - by sea to northern Croatia, then truck it north from there, avoiding Italy. Easy.
