Does anyone have a good source of cheap flexible or semi flexible solar panels? I need to get at least two 48W or more, something like the sunware type. Any help gratefully received.
oh you're serious, cheap panels indeed, you had us all going for a minute then.
I bought a pair of rigid panels from http://www.jgtech.com/shop11.htm last year. After much searching they were not only one of the most competitive but a company I have dealt with happily in the past, including a couple of trouble free returns.
Ok I bought rigid panels, but if their prices were competitive for rigid I would presume they will also be competitive for floppy ones... highly recommended company, *usual disclaimers apply*
p.s. for Schottky (which you will need at least one) diodes I had to use ebay, they are like hen's teeth.
Flexible and semi-flex panels tend to be few and far between now. The manufacturers get more custom and make more money from domestic installations. I bought my kit from Barden, not the cheapest but good quality. Also I would second JG technologies. Both offer sound advice and good service
