I expect to replace my old radar/plotter some time in April and hope to give the old one a good home. I am posting it here as it is too big to go in a letter-box and I thought there might be someone in the area I could deliver to or who would pick it up.
It's a Raytheon R70 Black & White job in working order. The radar might be more appealing than the plotter but there are charts of the Channel, N Sea & Baltic, some only last year's.
It was fitted in 2000 and has never given any trouble. I'm not sure how much antenna cable there is yet but it is fitted in the stern with a fair amount coiled as spare. It has been connected to my other Raytheon instruments and again, there has been no trouble here.
If you know anyone who might be interested in getting into radar for say £200 please let me know.
