Cheap impeller.

I found it difficult to get hold of my usual Jabsco replacement impeller locally, they are now around £30. So I thought I would take a punt on an Ebay item which was about half that price. What could go wrong, at least I could run the engine up before the spring?

Anyway I went to fit it today and this is what I found:




Would not fit, the pin is offset by .75mm. Junk.

I know that you shouldn't have to, but it wouldn't take much to make it usable.

Um apologies, but it's not clear which dimension is offset. I got caught once thinking a volvo impellor was symmetrical; but it wasn't. The pin was closer to one end than the other by... about a mill.
