cheap generator

For that sort of money, best bet maybe to stick with a known make (Honda copy) Kipor - not e-start though. Plenty on here (inc me) have had one over a few years and they are generally reliable, very easy to pull start and you can live with the noise levels. Honda are the best and quietest, but will cost about 2.5 times as much unless you pick one up used.

The description says that it uses inverter technology to provide a "clean" AC for sensitive electronic gear. I would suggest that before buying you check to see if that means pure sine wave output as it implies or if it is really a "clean" square wave (often called a modified sine wave) which might be a contradiction in terms and not suitable for induction motors like refrigerator or fan and some elctronics. OK for brush moptors like drills grinders heaters and lights. I have no idea on expected life of the generator. good luck olewill
