Cheap(er) berths in the Balearics?

Moving our boat around from Portugal to the Balearics next spring and looking for somewhere reasonably priced (if that is not a contradiction in terms) to keep the boat, marina/mooring, afloat or ashore. So far my investigations show that even in the season hardstanding ashore is at a premium, and certainly no cheaper than a marina. Places we have considered are
Club Nautico Palma: rentamooring.com have advertised 14m berths from 10,000euros a year
Travel-lift Palma (ashore) want £1150 per month!
Marina in Mahon 6,500 euros a year (but not so good for winter flights as Palma)
Does anyone have any other cheaper suggestions? Have seen moorings in Puerto Colom but have no idea who runs them, also mooring 'islands' in Mahon harbour but doesn't sound ideal for leaving the boat unattended for a month or so.

Formenteramar used to offer affordable "low season" prices during the winter. There is a possibility of having the boat on the dry, but this is, as far as I know a separate entreprise. Have a look at theyr site, which is very informative.

The Real Club Nautico Palma has no storage on the dry.

From our experience the season is crucial, things could be 7-8é per night Sept to May then go to nearly 100.

Formentora was OK and nice but for a 12m boat 125e in summer!

San Antonio was good (we wernt there in season) very cheap in winter and friendly but not much space ashore.

My main recomendation would be Puerto Antratx. I was cheap out of season, had loads of space ashore and very helpful. I'v no idea about annual fees but I'm sure it would be cheaper than Palma. There are also some moorings there too, which I know are cheap.

Puerto Colom buoys are supposed to be 3e per night but there is some disagreement between the local and island council about who is responsible for them so it is not collected, but you did not seam to be able to book them and people were waiting for 2 days watching for someone leaving to grab a mooring, which is a bit sad with bomb proof anchoring 100m away.

Oh yes you could also try the two rias on the north side of Minorca, Fornells and I've completely forgotten the other ones name, both had marinas, hard standings and loads of mooring space.
