Cheap Calls to Greek Mobiles?

I've just bought a couple of Greek SIM cards, so now the search is on for a <u>cheap and reliable</u> way to make calls to Greek Mobiles.

Having used various companies over the years, it would be interesting to hear of any recommendations.

Perhaps I didn't explain: I'm not wanting to use a mobile to call Greece, I want to use a low-cost prefix, like this one: http://www.0044.co.uk/cheap-international-calls/Greece.htm

Looks like you've found what you are looking for.... unless someone comes up with a cheaper version - having said that, I wouldnt be so sure that there wasnt a catch in there somewhere. e.g. there is no way that their mobile access number will be included in free calls allowances - they would know if it was. Also they say it will cost about 20p per minute to use the mobile access number, but I wouldnt be too sure.

How did you get on with the search for mobile internet in Greece?

There are about 100 companies who offer cheap calls, I was hoping that there might be some recommendations.

That's the one for Vodafone Live, access via mobile to a limited # of sites with 500Mb/month. Not actually much use if you need to roam the internet.

I've settled on the €30/month data-only SIM by Vodafone. OK 3G near big towns (Kerkyra and Zakinthos) but painfully slow elsewhere and no connection possible Giaios, Paxos and Sivota, Lefkada.

I looked at the €15 package and rejected it for the 5Gb/month I get for this one.

Getting it (because it's a business package) is a little tortuous.

We have been using call18866.co.uk for years for calls to SE Asia.

Might be worth a look.

Also look at the possibility of Skype (Skype Out)?

may be a bit of a drift. we have a landline in greece and use lemontel to call the rest of the world. we have a business connection but cards and roaming connections are possible.
3 euros for 1/2 hour is normal.can get congested.forthnet do another.otenet has bond street prices.
