Hello Folks,

I was wanting to haul my little 23'er 5'draught sailboat for some work and storage on hard for maybe a year or more if the price was right..

I've had her before at a place on the Itchen River Southampton (Lauren Marine), for 100 ppm(plus tax).. do you think there's anywhere cheaper anywhere along the S coast as far W as Dartmouth?

Most grateful for any leads!

Try Trafalgar Wharf, Portchester. They may be open to a bit of bargaining for a year's stay. Looks like about £110 pm inc. VAT.

Here? Perhaps an "arrangement" can be made for your particular situation.

Friendly yard, and some good tradesmen if required.

For that length of time is it worth transporting it nearer home? I've moved my 30ft boat on a large Hiab lorry before and even managed to lift it off straight back into the water. All you need then is a piece of land to put it on. Just a thought.

Thank you for those ideas I'll look into them! Seems 100ppm is what I can expect to pay.

I had thought if I could find someone with some land spare an arrangement could be organized like was mentioned.. maybe I could look into that more.

Thanks again!
