Having to do a tight U turn with a twin axle trailer from the front of my house onto the road is no good as the tyres scrub so much  Manually pulling it and hitching it up 5 times doesn't help either with traffic waiting so I need cheap storage for a 22' boat anywhere in the area around Reigate to Chichester - many thanks.

Take off one pair of wheels, manouvre out of your driveway, and tootle down the road to the nearest convenient layby. Fit the wheels again (which you will have remembered to pop in the boot, along with the wrench and the nuts).

Thanks, I thought of that as well but having checked with the trailer builder he advised against putting 2.25 tonnes on one heavy duty axle!

Somebody must know of a farmer, caravan storage or maybe a neighbour they don't like that needs a boat in their driveway ;)

I met a bloke on the slip at Itchenor who kept his boat at a nearby secure storage area, I was going to look into it once my contract expires at the marina, might be worth phoning the HM office as expect they'd know.

i keep my small boat on trailer just over the road from chi marina and it costs £40pm. a tight turn to get in but there are some big boats stored there so should be fine.
