Endurance 37

OK it's ferro, it's 'tired' but it's only £15K asking.

If I was 20 years younger and wanted to go off bluewater cruising on the cheap I might be tempted to hone my DIY skills on this project. Its got 'newish' sails & the engine's had a recent rebuild.

No connection - I just like Endurances.

There used to be a Ferro Endurance 35 that I lusted after back in the 80's. It was called Gull's Way (lovely name) - owned back then by Brian & Mary Robertshaw.

We met a couple of ferro yachts on our travels back in the 90s - good value for a decent size yacht & perfectly ocean capable.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm..Ive always liked Endurances and tried to buy one , trouble was they were usually a bit dodgy, like the sellers. One had mushrooms growing out the beam shelf...the seller offered me £1000 off so I could re deck it...
I had to have a serious word with myself to stop me buying it.

The one I really liked wasn't for sale.

But being ferro, they might not have gone from 'chicken wire' all the way to finished yacht.
Of course. Also true with GRP and Colvic etc.

I'd suggest anybody interested should get a surveyor who's used to ferro boats - like Martin Evans who has one himself.

Could still be a good buy for someone.
