Pathfinder the week before.... Met Nicho as crew on way out and BrendanS for return leg. Ianainge on outbound leg is a previously known ne'er do well who is currently on an informal stinkie to raggie conversion course, now upgraded from kindergarten to Reception class. None of these were axe murderer sorts and each of them I'd happily sail with again!

Hadn't met any of the 'Cutters' crew aboard Ayesha or other participants beforehand. But that is part of the fun isn't it?
Nice to put faces to names.

I took Fatipa and BigLes across having met neither before. Fine hands and good cheerful crew, not quite the mad axe men I'd picked up on an internet chat room, as my wife had worried.

I only met jimi the week before, to put names to faces prior to departure. Have met nicho a couple of times on our pontoon - but then again, I didn't see him in Cherbourg !!

Hadn't met anybody else before.

<hr width=100% size=1>I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

Funny, I had always assumed (me being in France) that you lot regularly got together for outings.

I haven't met you though it's not for want of trying. Is it worth it? Seriously, the boat's staying in this winter.

I hadn't met Zef, brother Pat, Nicho or Ian physically before. They were a great bunch, sociably and as sailing companions.

Must remember to take my axe next time though ;)

As you have probably gathered from their entries - I sailed on Tom's boat Amaya. I'd never met Tom or Brian (Fatipa), or Tom's two friends Derek and Charlie before the trip. A great bunch of guys who I hope to see again in the future. Considering we'd never met before I think we all got on really well and everyone took their turn at helming, galley work, cleaning etc. Although I do remeber Fatipa is rather partial to sleep! But then that's only my point of view!!
