Looks nice out there today! Was driving back from Cornwall wishing I was out for a play on the water!

It was fabulous.

The only fly in the ointment turned into a plus.

We went to banana wharf port hamble and it was shut. Others were trying the door.
At least 30 people in multiple groups walked down into the marina as we were walking up to the village.
I asked as they walked "are you going to the bar"
"yes"
"its shut"
"you're kidding"
"nope"

Hamble was packed.

We had lunch the the olde whyte hearte. Struggled to sit but managed, and reminded our selves that it is worth the walk up the hill. So they lost our business today and probably in the future too.

The management or Banana Wharf are foolish to say the least.

Surprised they were. Closed! Their loss! I do actually rate it there. Staff are great and service nd food is always good but closing today sounds stupid!!! Not done the white heart for a while but always used to be good!!

Chased by a solitaire

It was nice out there.

It was - and considering I've posted 2 photos of you in the last week (people might talk) I have no Idea why I got your user name wrong - and I can't change the title.

The sun must have gone to my head or maybe it was the Fullers :)

At one point you had that RIB at about 45 degrees heel I think much to the amusement of all on board, but I missed the photo of course.

Do you drink Fullers out of a wine glass? For that is what you toasted me with.

I know, your boat pushes out a very strange wash. Must be those single props!

That was the champagne - you were having more fun in the RIB but I do have a fridge :) Have to toast the first trip of the year.

The Fullers was in the pub - I am partial to a pint of Discovery, a summer ale I know but I like it all year. Another reason the pub is better than the banana bar.

Wonder if the wave is due to my lard rather than the props - which is in part due to the 2 sentences above. However it is unusual to have two bin lid sized single props that far aft, maybe it is odd. Trim was OK she was going fine.
