What chart App for UK/Northern European waters would forum members recommend for an iPad/iPod Touch? For example if the iNavX product was selected can that be used simultaneously on both an iPod Touch and an iPad (i.e. based on 2 licences per user) provided that the appropriate dedicated charting App (for example Navionics) has been purchased for each piece of hardware. Also what mobile service provider do forum members recommend and whether or not a monthly contract or PAYG is the best option. Are there any monthly download considerations if used primarily for GPS?

Grateful any/all assistance.

These was recently discussed at length.

We use Navionics. No additional charts required. Great for planning and all you need, but not a full plotter. INavx seems the one for that.

Agree with all that but would add that Navionics is by far the easiest to use.
Imray charts for iPad are no doubt comprehensive but the app is so user-unfriendly that I rarely open it. It's a classic example of too many features spoiling the broth. Go Navionics.
