Chartplotter Backlight Failure

I have a Raymarine C120 display and the backlight appears to have failed (no, I haven't got it set on night pallete and the backlight is turned up to maximum). Has anyone else experienced this and if so was it easily fixed?

My C70 is now barely readable in daylight.

Had a SL series whose backlight failed... sent it back to Raymarine and they sorted it, back in a week... not on warranty so cost something like £90 to fix IIRC... Works fine now!

Seen a couple of them do this, seems to be a bit of a common problem. RM will fix it, but be prepared for a charge.
