Chartering my boat

I have a 30 foot 4/6 berth powerboat on an inland loch and would like to use it for a week as accommodation for visitors to 2002 Scottish Open Golf. My son who would be in charge of boat has Day Skipper Certificate. Any problem?

The immediate problem is that chartering is coverered by the MCA Yellow Code, which can be stringent and expensive. Whether it covers boats on inland waters - I don't have my copy with me - you would be best asking the RYA or the MCA.

IMHO

The answers you will get will be in three categories:

1) people who already charter and answers will be to confuse and stop another entring the marketplace.

2) Well Wishers who know nothing.

3) People with all the facts

The problem you will have is who is who

As alraedy mentioned Go directly to source: RYA or the charter association.

If you need a license for you water they may be able to help
