Our charter to Croatia today did not happen due to no flights into Croatia, border quarantine restricions etc. The charter co have said they will process a refund. Very fair of them. They offered a switch of dates to October but I am not sure we want to fly anywhere this year as we are at a vulnerable age. Anyway it looks as if the weather in Croatia is cool and with some very windy days so to some extent the holiday would have been overshadowed with concern about returning to base at the end of the week. Thanks for prevoius advice which noted the weather can still be unsettled mid May which looks to be the case.
We plan to charter inmid May next year, again for my wife's birthday but maybe somewhere with more certainty of good weather. Any suggestions?
