Charter Crews - Australia

My daughter is down under at the moment and is wanting to work on charter boats for the remainder of their summer. - She's a great cook, done a fair bit of sailing with me, and is a hard worker.

Any one have any ideas on who to contact????

The FNQ charters have almost finished.. its time to get south ,away from the cyclones( ususlly start end of Oct.)Now that leaves Sydney/Melbourne etc. I am in Mel and we dont have to many charters out of here , so I reckon she will have a problem till next season. Even then, we dont seem to need too many "cooks "etc as most charters are by southern sailors who take etheir own cook.

Does your daughter merely want to cruise in OZ or is she looking for work from OZ to soewhere ?

Dear Chris,

Sydney has a good summer season of work on the harbour. Mainly powerboats and ferries on daytrips some upmarket in style contact Flagship Charters (they are a booking agent but know all the vessels.) Also charter/sailing schools are Eastsail, Clubsail, Pittwater Yacht Charters, Simply Sailing, Sunsail, Sydney Harbour by Sail, Eos Yacht Charters, Sydney Harbour by Sail. Busiest times are Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb
