Charter costs this year

I've chartered about 6 times in various places in the Med Greece, Croatia, Italy. Always paid around £1000 for a boat outside of August. This year a quick google reveals prices three to four times that amount. Have charter costs risen in this recession, or am I just getting googles sponsored expensive web links.

Google has changed too, it's somehow more dothing its hat to its paying advertisers and not giving a hoot about its users (people like us). Is there a gap in the market for a new google competitor?

Difficult to say what the price is without knowing size of boat and period. For up to date prices for booking this season try one of the brokers such as Latesail.
